TrueLife PB

TrueLife PB contains 6 carefully chosen probiotic strains: Lactobacillus acidophilus La-14®, Bifidobacterium lactis BI-04®, Lactobacillus paracasei Lpc-37®, Lactobacillus plantarum Lp-115®, Lactobacillus casei Lc-11®, and Lactobacillus rhamnosus Lr-32®.

These strains were developed by one of the pioneers in probiotics, Danisco® (now part of Dupont® Nutrition and Biosciences).  The probiotics are dairy-free and made from non-GMO vegan friendly sources.

These probiotics are cultivated under harsh conditions so they develop the ability to adapt and survive in the various environments they may encounter while travelling through your digestive tract.

Also important, the probiotic strains in TrueLife PB are able to bind and colonize once in your intestines to support a healthy microbiome.

Finally, the 6 strains in TrueLife PB are compatible with each other, and won’t destabilize the entire probiotic formula.  You should be wary of multi-strain probiotics that aren’t compatible and don’t “play nice together”– you can end up with a lot of dead probiotic cells in the capsule.

The probiotics in TrueLife PB can help support digestive and immune system function in numerous ways including helping to support regularity, reduce bloating and flatulence, ease intestinal discomfort, reduce occasional diarrhea and promote a healthy microbiome and gastrointestinal function.

The ACTAZIN® kiwifruit extract from New Zealand, includes prebiotic kiwi fiber and pectin that provides a food source to the friendly bacteria in the gut and the probiotic strains in TrueLife PB to help them grow and flourish.

What makes ACTAZIN® unique as a prebiotic is its ability to selectively feed bacteria known to support a healthy gut, such as the probiotic strains in TrueLife PB. In other words, it only helps the good stuff grow, not the bad stuff.

Due to the complexity of kiwifruit pectin, it is slowly fermented by gut bacteria along the whole length of the colon.

This slow fermentation means ACTAZIN® consumption doesn’t generate excess gas or the associated unwanted effects (e.g. bloating and discomfort) like other prebiotics can. This makes it a valuable addition to TrueLife PB to help maximize your benefits.

Packaging probiotic capsules in regular bottles (including glass bottles) doesn’t adequately protect the live probiotic cells from elements that destroy them – namely moisture and light.  This causes the number of live probiotics cells (CFUs) to decline, and the supplement becomes less potent.

Probiotics typically lose potency while the product is sitting on a shelf (in a warehouse, store or your home), and this can accelerate when you start using the product and open the bottle each day exposing the capsules to moisture and light.

The TrueLife PB capsules are packaged in the protective Activ-Vial™ bottle, which studies found is superior to other bottles and blister packaging at preserving probiotic potency.

The Activ-Vial™ bottle features a protective sleeve that lines the inside of the bottle. This fully-integrated Activ-Polymer™ sleeve absorbs moisture before it can harm the probiotics inside the capsule. It also works to shield the capsule from light and helps to create an optimal microclimate for the live probiotic cells.

This unique sleeve complements the outer layer of the bottle, which works to minimize moisture and light transmission.

Even after you open the TrueLIfe PB bottle and start taking the supplement daily, the Activ-Vial™ bottle has been shown to help maintain probiotic potency (30 capsule bottle), which is a major challenge with regular bottles.

The Activ-Vial™ bottles helps protect probiotic potency better than any other packaging solution. The Activ-Vial™ bottles can be recycled.

Even though the TrueLife PB probiotic strains were cultivated to survive the stomach on their own, we don’t take any chances. We use special delayed release veggie capsules, called DRcaps®, to ensure the probiotics aren’t damaged in the stomach.

When you take a product with a normal capsule, the capsule starts to dissolve immediately, and after about 15 minutes it is completely disintegrated – emptying the powder into the stomach.

The delayed release DRcaps® we use in TrueLife PB don’t begin releasing the powder till about 52 minutes after you take the capsule. At this point, the capsule should be leaving the stomach and about to enter the intestines.

Over the next hour or two, the probiotics cells inside the TrueLife PB capsules are fully released into the intestines – where they can quickly go to work.
